Victorian Period

Greetings from the PurplePatty.com Community!

The Victorian period is so named for the reign of Queen Victoria from 1837 to her death in 1901. Queen Victoria was one of the most respected monarchs with the longest reign of any British monarch. The Victorian period was one of elegant style featuring elaborate designs with stunning color and detail. One of the items from the Victorian period are the glass domed taxidermy displays that would include birds, butterflies and flowers in a natural setting to be displayed in the parlor. It is amazing how these have survived and kept their color and beauty all these years.

Here's to a day full of shopping and smiles!
