Every Picture Tells a Story Don't It

Greetings from the PurplePatty.com Community!

PurplePatty here to share a little bit on the picture front of your auction or store items.

Having a lot of pictures (on PurplePatty.com you get 8 pics for free) can be one thing, but the quality of those pictures are most important. I know, if your selling the item for 99 cents how much attention and time should you invest in the pic?

My suggestion on low priced items is two good pictures. One picture showing the overall item and another to show any maker's marks. A good picture should have soft not too hot lighting and a nice drape (something to block out any other "noise" in the picture) so all the focus is on your item. Most important, if you talk about it in your description you must show it in a picture. So, if you say the item has a maker's mark take a picture to show the mark.

Here's to a day full of shopping and smiles!
