Antique Malls

Greetings from the PurplePatty.com Community! Antique Malls can be a great way to spend the afternoon. Every time I visit one, I usually always see something I have never seen before. It is always fun, but can sometimes be overwhelming as most dealers have a mix of a little bit of everything in their booth. If you are looking for something particular, you can sometimes be amazed at how the clerks seem to know where every little tidbit is hidden away. Here are a couple of things to remember when visiting an antique mall.

As soon as you walk in the door ask, "Do your dealers give discounts?" Ever antique mall I have been in have dealers that give discounts. If they say that some of them do, ask them to point out a couple of their booths and get their discount. Also, ask if there are any discounts paying with a check or cash versus a credit card.

Always ask to see the newest dealer's that have just moved in with new merchandise. Especially if this is a mall you frequently visit.

And yes, ask the dealers what online auction site they are using and/or web store site. It can be convenient for you to purchase online and stop by the mall to pick it up. If they don't have one, be sure and tell them about PurplePatty.com Auctions and Marketplace Stores with FREE Auction Listings and FREE web stores!

Here's to a day full of Shopping and Smiles!
